706 T/A blowing out?

Can a 706 T/A blow out if I never use it or do they blow out because they get used or shifted wrong?

No,

They don't "Blow out".

It was put on there to either use or not use as you see fit. Totally your choice.

TAs only "blow out," if by "blow out" you mean FAIL, if they are ABUSED.

With normal and judicious use, a TA will last just as long as if you didn't use it at all.

706 tractors typicly do not have enogh power to ever hurt the torque as long it is used properly.

I ussually hear about them failingbecasue of misuse. I Don't think not using them would hurt them, taking it out and using it every now and then correctly would probably be good for it though.

Use it-- Push or pull the Lever as rapidly as you can from end of travel to end of travel. Do not fr=ether it in or out at all. it will last a long long time. Our 350U is still on its original and it lived with 4 or 5 TA shifts per round plowing for 30 years, as well as snow plowing in 5th TA and shifting to direct while plowing 12" of snow!! No issue. JimN
