I want to build a Farmall H moter for pulling. Is there a preferred block,h-350, head, want to go more c.u.'s, stroker, etc. would appreciate advice from experience.

Well you could do as we did on a H we built for a buddy , we pulled the sleeves and BORED the block and installed 806 .040 over pistons and a few other small improvements

Chad builds "Hs" and builds some real wild ones. He's a real nice guy to talk with.

David, I talked to a guy a while back that had worked a 300U engine and installed it in an old rusty stripped down H. He had problems keeping the tires hooked to much power! at 4000# oldiron29

We have an H pulling around here that was bored and M pistons were used along with a 350 propane head. That tractor also broke into, broke right where the holes are for the hydraulic lines from the pump come out. He was pulling the 5000lb open class when it happened.Threw him off but he had only bruises.
