Farmall 400 Loader fit?

I know it is heresy, but can I put a JD 148 loader on a Farmall 400? Looks like it will work, but tractor and loader are a long way from one another so I'm hoping someone on here might have already done it. Loader is currently on a JD 3010.
 
I would say yes with the certainty that a welder, drill press, cutting torch, and a sample of steel shapes and flat stock will be needed. Do not expect a bolt on reality. JimN
