Clutch Issues

Having issues with a stuck clutch/flywheel on 424 international tractor. Clutch will not disengage after pushing in. Tractor has been sitting for a few months, suspect rust issues. Is there an inspection plate or anyting I can remove to release the clutch, or does the tractor have to be dissasembled.

Put it in neutral and roll it to where there is space (front yard /field dirt road etc.) Get it started and a bit warmed up. Put it in 3rd gear and push in the clutch. Heading into the clear area start the tractor (it will lurch forward) (keep the clutch down) drive it around some about 1/2 throttle and apply the brakes in quick stabs to free the disk. Be safe. joel, keep the clutch blocked down when you park the tractor, it will keep it from sticking again.

Back from a hike in a wildlife refuge. nice time and turkey sandwiches on the trail! I am glad it worked. (usually does) Jim
