Super A seat option?

Was there a factory seat option for the Super A.
I thought mine was an add on but a fellow called me and said his Super A has the exact same seat as mine. Was it an option?

It appears to be the A and B version of the Monroe seat built for the M. I'm not sure if it fit the H too. I don't know if it was a factory option but it may have been available from dealers.

No factory option you just got them from a dealer there were several brands made for the A and B tractors also other brands and models.

I dont know on the super A but on the 140 there was a deluxe seat you could get as an option. Erik..

I looked through the IH Parts site and the only place I found the exact seat was on the Super H so I thought mine was an add on. I had never seen a seat like that on an offset before but mine looks like a factory or dealer install.
Thanks for the photo Zach, glad to see my seat comes on another offset.

That seat is not identical to the ones found on H/M sized tractors. It was built for the A/B. It was NOT offered from the factory. Dealers sold and installed them. Most tractors with that seat no longer have a serial number plate as it was tossed aside along with the original seat brackets.

I have one on one of my B's as well, dealer option called "Monroe easy ride seat".
More confortable then factory seat for sure!
