that is a IH mower model C-24-P or possible C-21-P but pretty sure its the 24 it has the duall lift springs on the back. that mower will fit a Super C, 200, 230 ect with the fast hitch. They could be ordered with 5, 6, and 7 foot cuts.

Agree with the model number. I will add that it uses a lift rod that connects to the left side of the Touch-Control. Most 230s didn't have Touch-Control so the mower wouldn't go right on them and completely hook up as it would on the earlier tractors.

From the picture, a chain can be seen attached where that lift rod goes. So this mower may already be configured for a 230. In that case, you will need to add a rod to use it on the earlier tractors.

Did that muddle the picture enough?

Not sure what it is. I can say, if it's helpful, that it's not a 21. The double spring wouldn't be right, the pulleys are not one above the other as on a 21, and the transport stay rod is way too long.

I've got my doubts about it even being a 24, which was pretty just much a beefed-up version of the 21, and that box, and that bow around the bearing boxes isn't at all familiar.

The 21 and 24 were made for two different frames, one for the A series and the other for the Cs. I'm guessing from the relative size of that Fast Hitch, that it was for an H or M, but I don't know them well enough to come up with possible model numbers.

ScottyHOMEy,
With a closer look, I can see that you are right. It isn't a 21 or a 24. There was a model UF-28 that might be a match. I don't have a picture for identifying one. There is a picture in the 350 sales brochure of a similar one, but the model isn't identified with that picture.
