1945 Farm All H

I need some info and a manual for my H. I would specifically like to know about the hydraulics and output pressures. Also I have a couple of seal leaks I would like to take care of and need the service manual for this tractor. Can any one help me here please.

There's a link over to the left side to the Tractor Manuals sold by the store on this site. Some CaseIH dealers carry them or are willing to get them, and they're also produced and sold by external_link. There are both Service and Operator's manuals.

I don't have one of what you're looking for, so I can't speak to it's usefulness for what you're looking for. If it's like the one for the Touch Control on smaller tractors, it may have only test pressures as opposed to working pressures. That's useful if you're trouble shooting.

If you're looking for working pressures with an eye to sizing implements, some of the guys around here have a better handle on those, and might chime in.

The factory hydraulics on an H had two versions, a low pressure (500PSI) and high pressure (800PSI). This is for the transmission-driven "belly pump" unit under the tractor.

Remember that the hydraulics stop when you push the clutch, and they are one-way, pressure up, gravity down.

You'll want an owner's manual too. Look at binderbooks DOT com. Just don't expect the service manual to be a step-by-step cookbook on how to disassemble the tractor. It was written in the 1940's when people were expected to have some mechanical aptitude, so depending on your level of experience, you may find a roll of used paper towels more useful.

Farm supply stores like TSC generally have I&T manuals which are handy to have. Should be # IH-8. Biggest problem with them is they cover several models in one book and you have to sift through a bunch of info to find the right stuff.

Don't buy from TSC. I bought the same I&T manual for my A from Amazon.com for $20 instead of $32 that TSC wanted. Amazon.com is currently sold out of the one that I bought which had Cubs thru MTA's in it but they will probably get more in stock soon.

I'd say the owner's manual, the shop manual and the Liftall manual, from this site, would do it. Cheapest less than a hundred bucks you'll spend on the tractor.
Meanwhile, here's a sample page from the Liftall manual just to get you started.
