1066 Vs 4020

that can not be allowed in this thread, you used common sense and you did not mention anything about your brother-in-laws, wifes, sisters, boyfriends dad in it.

I would never trade a 1066 (125 H.P.) for a 4020 (95 H.P.). I've farm with both and I worked on both and 1066 is my choice.

My 4020 is a fine tractor and it works hard. I'm not at all familiar with the 1066 other than that is also a real good peice of equipment. The 1066 is too big for my hay operation but I think it's resale value is alot higher. It's a good looking tractor in excellent 110% condition. With a 4 day weekend and no pressing chores, I'm going to run it and see how it sounds (turbo-howl) and feels... The hardcore JD fanatics tell me I'm nuts to even consider trading the 4020.

NO,NO,NO.That 1066 will out pull the snat out of that 4020. A 1966 4020 without the side console  hydraulics are not that handy to operate.STAY RED.The 4020's are a nice tractor' don't get me wrong, they're a good good tractor, steer nice etc. but not even in the ballpark of a 1066.
