I have an American Classic bucket & grapple on my 1950 "M". I need to know where I can find a website and find out where the serial # is, how much hydraulic fluid to put in, what kind of hydraulic fluid, etc. Thank you

No idea on the site or Serial # but it can use Hytran fluid 20wt non detergent oil, or JD hydraulic transmission fluid or equal spec prouct.
Fill it (probably in a frame tube) to just short of the flill hole with it on the ground. Good luck, JimN

You're not going to find a site or serial number registry if you haven't found one yet through normal web searches. Loaders simply don't have the same passionate following as tractors. Luckily it's a loader so it should be pretty simple to figure out.

Since the loader presumably uses the tractor's hydraulic system, it will use the same fluid as the tractor. Farmalls use Hytran or hytran-compatible oil. Even if it doesn't, it's not that critical on antique equipment like this, so just use the hytran.

As for amount, you're on your own. Many Walmarts carry both major types of hydraulic oil (R&O type, and Hytran-compatible type), so you should have a supplier nearby if you run short. Fill it until it's full.
