INTERNATIONAL 454

Morning All,
i dont belive it be the wife bought me
a 454. Not hte best of shape but works good.
I didnt get a chance to see it before she had it
delivered to the house. ;i was looking it over
it has a loader (why she got it) but this might
sound stupid but i cant find the oil dip stick
or where you can check the oil?
it leaks a little so i dont want to run it low on oil and with the loader it is hard to see the engine . can anyone help a dummy out ??????

The dip stick and dip stick tube are not on the engine block. Look at the oil pan and you should find a dip stick tube going into it. Follow the tube up.

Hi,

Assuming your 454 is configured the way the one I ran growing up is.. the dipstick tube will be about an inch pipe. Dipstick has a T shaped handle on top... tightens/loosens by turning. Is NOT your standard automotive type dipstick where it just holds on friction alone.

Hydraulic dipsttick is next to your heel when sitting in the seat. Thinking left side (next to parking brake).
