Front Loader For 706

I recently bought a 706 tractor. I wanted to get a front loader so I found an International 2001 that was on a 504. It is too short for the 706. Are there any extentions? Can it be used with the flat top fenders? Is there brackets that fit the 706 shaped rear housing?

Thanks in advance for the information,
Jeff

2001 loaders were designed to fit many tractors. The loader had to be ordered with the correct subframe and front mounts for the tractor it was to be mounted on . You are correct in that a loader from a 504 has a shorter subframe than one for a 706. Also the attaching method to the rear axle is different. It could easily be made to fit by cutting off the 504 style attachments and then extending the subframe by welding the needed length of 4x4 inch square tubing to the subframe and building the rear attachments like designed to fit the 706 hex shaped axle housing. The front mounts for a 706 are somewhat different from those used on a Farmall 504 and very different from those on a International 504 (the utility model ).
I have a 2001 on a I-504 and a 2000 loader on a 756. I have sent info and photos to several guys who needed to modify loaders to fit other tractors. Can do the same for you. Reply if interested.

I need to know how much to cut off the subframe to mount a 2000 loader to my 2424 IH. Any info you might have would be great. The subframe on the loader is for a 504 tractor and it is currently too long for mine. Thanks.

Thank you so much that would be a huge help. This is my first tractor and I was begining to think I was going to be out the thousand dollars for thr wrong loader. My email address is [email protected] my mailing address is 25 Bridge St. Dundee NY 14837
Thanks again,
Jeff
