IH 574 remove rear axles from differential

I need to remave both rear axles. How do you remove axle from differential and the process of removing axle housings. do you need to remove the seat to get to differential? Thanks

Hi, remove the fenders, platform and tank assembly first, drain the oil, remove the 5/8 bolts that secure the axle, hold with a hoist and pull axle housing.Bernard le mecano Quebec Canada

Does the axle come with the housing or is there a different way to remove the axle?

Hi, the axle come with the housing, it have a bolt that secure the planetary to the axle, remove the bolt and push the axle out. Bernard le mecano
