IHC Wagon - Colours for wagon and rims?

I"m looking for the colours of the wagon and rims. I also wonder what model it is and if there should be a model and serial number plate.

You can see the IHC (International Harvester Corp) trade mark on the hubs and tongue brace.

Thanks in advance.

Les, I have one just like yours. It was paint some time in its life JD green and yellow. I was thinking Red frame cream wheels with blue hubs and hitch pole. Don't no if that is police correct, but I think it would look nice.

I'm painting my cobey wagon IH 2150 red with silver rims to match the new paint on my 53SH.

To the correct police: Alot of us want our equipment to look good and work. Trying to get a piece of equipment that was manufactured before I was born, exactly restored to original, is not worth the effort to me. 99% of the people who see my tractor don't know and don't care anyway.

I agree and I painted the wheels on this Farmall A yellow back in 1976. I painted the 16-inch moldboard plow yellow too. They both did a good job plowing. Hal

Hello Les,

My F-20 has the same spoke wheels on the front axle as your wagon gear.

We choose to paint the wheels like the newer tractors. I'm pretty sure this is not correct but It works for us!

I am with OldIron29, paint it red, cream and blue like a plow. It seems to be of the same vintage as these plows PLUS I always liked that color scheme. All red/grey like the F-XX tractors is just too boring!

I'm an old guy and saw those running gears when they were new at the dealer, they were always all red.....sorry, I agree it would look good painted like a Little Genius Tractor Plow.....except for the black plow style tongue.

I really like those wheels! Those would make an exceptionally nice parade wagon! I think red spokes and hub, with silver rims would look very nice on those wheels.

I hope you post the finished product!

I want to thank everyone out there for all the in-put again. But for the Dukester,if you saw them when you were young , about what year are we talkin here. Also you wouldn"t happen to remember the model #. Thanks again guys. Les..
