When and where is the next Red Power Round scheduled to be held?

Norm, I made some motel/hotel reservations about a month ago now for the RPRU and they are getting a little bit tough now for the 2010 RPRU in LaPorte although I finally found what we needed. There are still rooms available in neighboring towns about 20 miles away when I made ours. I did run into several that stated their set aside show special rates are already filled. My suggestion if you plan to attend is to get some reservations to your liking while they are still some available. I hope this doesn't turn into what we went through in Lebanon, TN in 2005 where they don't really know how to treat guests attending a very large event which outstrips the available rooms, good luck and hope to see you there, Hal.

We are thinking Michigan City. Any one tried there? Sounds like we had better get after it if we want to get any where close.

When I booked our room a month or so ago there were rooms available in Michigan City, and the college town of Valparaiso both of these cities are approx 25 miles away. I would think they are also available in South Bend as well as that appears the largest city in the area. I'm sure you can find something but will most likely be a fair drive from the show site. There is some hotels in Plymouth Indiana just by laporte. They are building a new one write now,

I doubt very much they would have one sponsered by the IH Collector Club. Insurance won`t cover it from what I understand.

If another group comes in and holds a simultaneous show, they might. But you would have to join the other group, so their insurance would cover you, to participate.
