340 IH utility

I have a 1959 340 gas utility that I need to price. This tractor is in fair condition, runs on 6-volt, loader works good, probably needs a tune up, sheet metal is very good, but all in all is a pretty solid tractor. Can anyone give me a starting point as far as what it is worth?? Thanks, Brian.

It's worth $25.00. Where do you live?
Just Kidding. Bout the best thing to do is check the photo and classified ads on this site and google that make and model and see what you come up with. Different buyers look for different things.

"Probably needs a tune up". How many times have I heard that from a used car salesman? That can cover a lot of serious defects. Better tune it up yourself before selling and hope that whatever it does to make you think it needs a tune up is fixed. Only fair.

I agree with BC about the tuneup.
If the rear tires are 50% or better, and nice, 3000 is not bad, especially if power steering.
If it has poor tires, the engine tuneup is not helpfull, and it might make it a 1200 dollar tractor. JimN
