450 Farmall-W9-.FRONT AXEL

The International W-450 has a front axle simular to the W-6 / W-9 but it is not a row crop tractor.

Well, it is similar in that there are two wheels separated by an axle. However, the W-450 uses a welded tubular axle like all row crops (less high crops) and the earlier standard tread tractors used a forged steel axle.

I suppose one could install a standard tread axle on a row crop but it would require alot of fabrication. I'd sooner look for a used after market wide front.

I was mainly refering to the way they mount and steer. F450 steers from the tricycle bolster. W450 steers with external linkage like your 9, 600, or 650, or 660.
