I just bought a super wd9 and I was takeing the injectors out and I noticrd they are different from my wd9,my wd9 service books do not show this style.does any one have any info on these to help me?
thanks Wayne

Early and later type on a WD9 were a little different. Not sure on a SWD9 but think they started putting what was called open type injectors someime in 1956. If they came on the tractor the fuel pipe goes in at a angle instead of toward front of engine. They were added to previous model tractors sometimes, but left fuel line to front sometimes.

Thanks for the reply,I figured out how to take the apart. It looks like mine are the later type.Do you know what pressure they pop at? my old style say 700 psi.
does any one know where I can get the rubber seals at the top and new springs?

Would have to look up the pressures to be sure, but think the open type injectors were 900 to 1000 psi for new or good used and no lower for use than 750 psi on used ones. Some set them new at 1100 or little higher. One case IH web site shows the dust seals. Says springs are discontinued. Shows valve assembly 275719R91 that includes spring for over $300. Warning just because they show it on there web site doesn't guarantee its still available. Someone should know were to find the springs but sorry I don't know where at present.
