Found oil in the right side brakes when I took the brake assembly off. Thought it would be a simple task to replace the leaking seal but I can"t figure out how to get to the seal. There is, what looks like a plate, that I thought would slide off and expose a seal on the side of the differntial housing but I can"t get it off. I am afraid to pry much on it as the differential lock and everything comes through it and I don"t want to tear or break something in there. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Reference to a site where I might find a schematic would also be helpful.

Thanks.

Not one of IHCs better designs. The seal has to be replaced from the inside of the pinion gear carrier. To get it off you need to remove the bull gear inside the rear frame.

Thanks Owen for the reply. I finally got it off and had to order the seal and a linkage bolt. Hope to have it back together this weekend. You are right it is certainly not a service friendly design.
