460's 560's factory rims

Did 460's & 560's come with an optional pressed steel rim versus the cast iron hubs?

The only pressed wheels available for F460 & F560's were dual wheel attachments. The cast main wheels were the only main wheels available. The front wheels were pressed steel whereas the F350 & F450 had been cast.

I believe 560"s were available with stamped wheels as part of a heavy tillage package. They were 34 inch wheels.

560 could be obtained with 14X34 or 16X34 disc type wheels or what you call pressed wheels. Don't think they were listed for a 460, but if a 460 was equiped with the 2-3/4 rear axles they would go right on. IH center hub for the disc wheels bolted on axle with the same type half moon clamps and bolts as the cast wheels.

You can do basically the same as an M&W by drilling holes in the weights of the govenor you have. I did that on the M I use on the pto generator to maintain voltage and frequency.
