I have a 1953 Super c, ordered valves for the head, didnt work, found out it was a C113 head, cast #251172-R2, the block was a 123 cast #354898R1, engine ran before restoration dismantling. My question is will this present any problems for my engine etc...or can I go ahead and rework everything and use it...please advise

no problems will work just fine. the only diffrence is that the compression maybe a little bit lower but not too much to really feel a diffrence.

The other thing to watch out for when you reasseble it is that you install the correct head gasket. If your tractor has a water pump (and it should) then you will need the gasket with the smaller holes for the coolant passages. Sam
