what should i pay 1939 farmall A in decent shape with a plow attached runs great?

and again a 1954 farmall A runs decent shape no attachments?

Both are undercover still have decals just faded are are complete,

Any info would be great.

I would say $1500 for the 39. Are you sure about the 1954 "A". A 54 should be a Super A. Because of the hydraulics they are worth more.
 
I bought a 1940 A and a 1942 A the 42 complete and running, the 40 was complete but locked up both had full set of cultivators both for $1500.00 last month. Parted the 40 out and kept the 42 now I have $900.00 in the 42. Seen 2 at the tractor show 2 weekends ago in Western NC for $1200.00 and $1400.00 They had just been repainted and decaled and were 30 footers. Depends on the part of the country your in.
 
Saw some JD's don't like to get to close to them the ugly my rub of on me. Just kidding. Their were some nice looking JD's tractors there.
 
30 footer means they look sharp at 30 feet but when you get up to them tey are preety ruff. Just got a new spray of paint and decails.
 
Were you over to the left when coming in the gate from the lot off 280, near the old cars? I think I stood there and watched you guys fire it up.
 
I paid 1000.00 for a 39 redone very nice paint excellent tires runs great. 350.00 for good repaint tires but stuck. 500.00 for not running,but free with exhaust lift w/cyclinder bad tires rough paint. Hope that helps.
