got an H that head is cracked from the water freezing, how do you check the block for any freeze cracks? i filled block with water & none ran out the bottom, but no pressure on this. Thanks gene |

| Ive seen these blocks hold water behind the sleeves. Even though the block was cracked. Start her up its worth the chance unless as suggested take it out and off to the auto parts. |

| P.O. had drained water out, now i guess i know why, no water in oil then, no anti-freeze in it. sure ran good, but water in oil. yes it freezes here. |

| If the motor is out , they sonic check them in a automotive machine shop. If it is in and you get it running and there is a milky colored oil film in the oil filler cap you know you have water in the oil. |

| Try some ethylene-glycol Permanent anti freeze solution. If there are any cracks, it will show after a period of sitting. And, if you live in cold country, make sure you drain out any plain water in the block and radiator, and put in anti-freeze. |
