I have a set of clam shell fenders that I would sell. They came off of a 504 but are on my H now. They will bolt to an M. I have them bolted direcly to the axle without the extension/spacer plates. From my understanding these were manufactured in the late 50's to the early 60's before the flatop fenders came out. These are a completely different mounting system from a C. From what I remember the C fenders use a bracket that clamps around the axle.

You guys are missing his point. He is asking if the fenders are the same with different mounting.

Yes, the upper part of the fenders are identical. I have both in the barn and laid them side by side. Yes, the mounting is much different. Hex axle tube on the C style, and a flat four bolt mount on the H&M style.

Yes, and it wouldn't take much work to fab up some brackets to make one type of fender work on the other type of tractor...

The H & M fenders are much less expensive aftermarket.
