Im having trouble finding the correct wire order for the distributor of a 4-cyl 56' International 300U. I know the firing order but believe the wires are not in the corresponding locations on the cap. Can anyone help? |

| If it is like from the factory, it is (looking from the back) 2-1 4-3 If someone indexed the distributor it could be at a different location for #1, but the order is still CW, and in that progression.Putting #1 cylinder on TDC compression stroke (pushes your thumb out of the hole with air), then turned to the TDC timing mark. assures you of number one's location, the rotor will point to it.
