I have been looking around for a 200 but am second guessing if that is what I want. It will be for mowing but the only ones I have seen do not have the IPTO. Was this even an option on this size tractor?? If not when did the IPTO become an option on this size range of tractor?

IPTO was never an option on the 200.

I think the oldest tractor of this size that has IPTO is a 404.

All you need, though, is an overrunning clutch so that the mower can spin free when you push the clutch. Without the overrunning clutch, the mower can actually drive the tractor wheels quite a ways before it runs out of momentum. The overrunning clutch slips on to the tractor's PTO shaft, and the mower's PTO shaft slips on the overrunning clutch.

Although the 404 and 340 used the C135, I believe (someone correct me) that the 404 had a 4 speed transmission and the 340 a five speed. 340 was also available with a TA, and the IPTO/TA setup is the same as the SMTA/300-450-up). There is also some question about whether the 404 ever had a IPTO. I have read that the early ones did not, the later ones did -- but I have never seen an eyewitness account of this. Perhaps someone will clarify it.
