I was looking at the carb kits on this site. Quite a selection. How do I determine which one I need for 1947 M? Where would I find the numbers on the carb? I did clean some spots off but no numbers. Would prefer to have kit before carb is removed as I need to use tractor right now. Thanks for any help |

| john, just above the idle speed screw there should be a brass tag with a rivet holding it on. clean that tag up and thats the number you need when ordering a kit. my m carb was number 50983dc. |

| Thanks for quick response. I will look again, but a brass tag did not jump out at me, unless its buried under all the gunk. |
