Fuel bowls on H and SH

I need some help with a little research regarding sediment bowl assemblies for the H with distillate or kerosene attachments. There are new replacements available now that have the additional inlet for the line from the starting tank. This inlet is 180° opposed to the outlet to the carb.. My SH did not have a bowl on it when I bought the tractor but a used replacement I picked up on this forum has the inlet and outlet at 90° to each other. From all I can determine from the parts lists and diagrams, the dual fuel version will always have the inlet and outlet at 90° regardless if it is for an early or late H or SH. If you have a dual fuel H handy that has the original strainer can you please take a look at it and let me know if the ports are at 90° or 180°? Thanks in advance.
 
I have a '44H and the dual fuel bowl ports are at 90°. I'm surprised to hear that the SH even had the option of being dual fuel. I thought that by the 50's dual fuel tractors had been phased out. Any idea how many SH tractors came off the line as dual fuel?
 

The dual fuel versions were available all the way up through and including the 350 and 450.

I removed a dual fuel sediment bowl from my 1940 H when I first brought it home. The inlet and the outlet were 90 degrees apart, and it was an original.
 
I don"t know for sure but back in "03 when I bought my SH I contacted the archives in Madison and was told they made, if my memory serves, about 360 dual fuel. I don"t remember if that was all SH"s or just the Stage II which I have. Either way they are pretty unusual. I think it"s time to look into that again.
 
My dual-fuel bowl is 90 degrees apart for the fuel lines. The shut-off control is 180 degrees from the line that goes to the carb.

I'm about to build the fuel line for my starter tank. I just looked at the bowl, and the carb line is almost inline with the tractor. So I'm going to have to tweak that line over to the left so the starter line can face more forward.
