I got a farmall h with the ring type front wheels it's a 1943 was wondering if that was the orginal type and when they went to the ring type i know the older ones had the 3 spoke type

I have a 1940 with the 3 spoke, or adjustable style. I think the non-adjustable style, such as yours, were the standard equipment, and the adjustable style was optional. Don't know for sure.

I believe you are correct, that the clamp style was standard, and adjustable-width were an option. I have the adjustable, and I'm converting back to clamp.
