three point hitch is leaking down bad,I think piston seals are worn causing problem.
tractor has factory cab, can this be fixed without removing cab?

The hitch cover has to be removed to get at the hydraulics of the hitch. It would be a miserable job to try to do it with the cab in place.

If you cab has the hinged rear mounts it is pretty easy to remove it. You tip it back to ninety degrees and just drive away. It is a little more involved than that but you do not need a hoist to lift it off. If your cab does not have the hinged rear mounts then you are going to need to lift it up to get it off.
