Besides the tach drive on a Farmall 300 IH distributor ,is there any other differences between that an a IH distributor on an H or M?
Thanks.

If all the units are original the 300 has around 18 crankshaft degrees total advance firing time than the other 2.

Failed to say the 300 has 18 degrees less total advance. Total advance for a 300 was 22 to 23 degrees and a H or M had 40 degrees total advance at crankshaft. Lots of M or H tractors had there's changed to less total advance when higher compression piston kits were installed.
