Farmall Super H starter/amp control box

cannot find the starter/amp control box for my 54 Farmall Super H...I realize that they are the same as the H and so on...I just need that box...I've looked everywhere for a used boxes in good condition and even for aftermarket control boxes, but I can't find one anywhere...Does anyone know where I could possibly locate one? Thanks

I think you are talking about the box where the rotary light switch is located on the steering support post. If that is what you are looking for I've seen them by the bushel basket full on those trailer loads of parts brought into any large tractor show like the RPRU. You should be able to get one from Mike at the Steel Wheel Ranch or the Nebraska Cowman in Nebraska with no difficulty. Watch EBay too. Farmall letter series ammeter boxes/covers are frequently show up there.

Search on "farmall box" or similar. (There's 2 boxes with covers listed right now...)

Box part without the cover is the same as several farmall tractors, except it has mounting holes for voltage regulator mounting. Cover is the same as stage 2, SH, SM, also SMTA, and some other tractors made during the same time period.
