574 hyd power to loader Question

I am trying to install a loader on my 574. The plate on the side of my remote valve has a port in the top that I tapped into for hyd power does not work. Then I found out that IH made 2 versions of that plate. 123104C1 is a "Control Valve Cover" and 123082C1 is a (Control Valve Cover-Power Beyond." Anyway, prior to learning this, I removed the supply line to the loader from the non-functioning 123104C1 plate and installed a fitting on the "Remote Valve Return Line" port by the remote valve to power the loader. I then removed rest of the return line, and capped off the fitting by the hyd filter housing. The return from the loader now goes into the hyd drain fitting.

Question is, will this cause problems or should I get a 123082C1 from Worleys (local ag junkyard) and tap into that?

Thanks

MAKE IT SIMPLE I HAVE A 454 IN AND OUT PORTS. I RUN FROM THR OUT PORT TO LOADER TO TREE SPADE OR WHAT EVER THEN BACH TO IN PORT. WORKS VERY WELL AND HAVE FOR 18 YEARS

Hi That will work. Usuall hook up is remove the return line from top of remote valve to draft control under the seat, cap line at draft control and return line same as you did.

Thanks for the input guys. That really helps. Saw guy at the hospital the other day where a Hyd fitting fractured and has some nasty head injuries from it. Got me worried on how I was hooking stuff up.
