Bought an H that the radiator is bad, i have a good spare one but core is 2 1/4 in. thick and the old one on tractor is 3 1/4 in. thick. the thin one has less tubes, will this cause a overheating problem? It will not be a working tractor. Thanks

thats for a winter tractor!....no it should be alright as long as the cores are not plugged.

The thin radiator will be just fine on a "parade/show" tractor, but would be less than adequate if you were to participate in a plowing bee.

Is the thin radiator a pressure type and the thicker one a thermosyphon system? The grill assemblies are different for the different radiators.

Hadn't thought of that, but yes, the grills are slightly different, and the radiator caps are also different. The non-pressurized radiator CAN use the same cap as on the fuel tank. The pressurized radiator uses the "winged" cap.
