Hydro 70 wide front end

The stay rod support for the front axle that bolts to the bottom of the frame on my Hydro 70 with a D-312 engine is missing the two front mounting bolts. The engine mounts are directly above these two bolt holes, leaving very little space between the mount and the frame rail to install a bolt or nut. Gas engines I have seen do not interfere with the bolts. I would appreciate any insight from someone who may have run into this before.

Found my answer. The frame rails are tapped for a 1/2" fine thread bolt in the front two mounting holes. My threads just aren't so good.
