3444 IH year.

Hi ya'll. I have recently found out that my IH 444 is really a 3444 with a BC144 engine (43.5 hp) and not a C-153 engine(42hp). I hope I have all of these numbers right. I'm looking for the year this british built monster was built. The only thing I can find is 29.C.2 stamped in the engine block abd 8.C.2 on the xmission case. Any help is appreciated.

Right side of the clutch housing just behind the bell housing should have a SN plate.

Thank You IH2444.........I have the serial # but it doesn't tell me the year it was built. Any suggestions on the 29.C.2.? Most other tractors I have looked at have the "C" or letter at the end. Example...29.2."C". and the charts tell the year. I may still be missing something.

Thanks Gentlemen.......There are two #'s on the SN tag. A4700001 & B0001751. One is an Assie # and the other is a British #. I am lead to believe the B0001751 is the serial # of the Brit and manufactured in 1969. Am I correct or do I need to dig deeper?
