706 have to pump brakes

I recently changed the hydraulic filter (fluid looked good) in an attempt to cure my slow to start power steering and brake problems. I think it helped, but the brakes still take a full pump, then about halfway on the second pump the backpressure increases and the brakes work.
I've tried bleeding the brakes, but did not see air in the fluid. Power steering is still so so, but works good when warm.
Any ideas?
It acts like air in the hydraulic system somewhere.

There is two pumps on the 706. One is your main hyd pump and the other pump is for steering and brakes. They are located on the left side of tractor and are internal pumps. Sounds like a weak pump, or internal leakage as there are multiple o rings in the assembly.

Well with out getting into checking pressures nd flow of the MCv pump we are al guessing . As for the brakes myself for all it takes to pop them off and tke a look at the disc's and springs along with the adjusters Here again we are guessing . It may well need a new pump on the MCV along with a rebuild of the MCV . And if you are not up on doing this then let someone that really knows how to check pressure and flow as this takes a flow rater and some special fittings to do the test.
