Hi, my governor on my farmall H is pretty worn out and I would like to get a new or rebuilt one. does anybody know where to get one? thanks a lot

Using all capitol lettres as an answer to a question leaves the impression that you are YELLING at the person asking the question. I know this has been told you before , SO dont YELL thanks CC

No I'm not the YT police!! Heaven forbid!! Just wountn't like it if someone let me wander around in an air of "contrite stupidity". CC

Mike, the various parts are still available through Case-IH, but there are no governor rebuild kits available that I am aware of.

You Sir have hijacked this topic by being rude and typing in capitals. If you can't read your computer screen then get a better set of glasses. Otherwise do not respond to questions!

I don't think kits are available anymore either. Last time I put one in was over 20 years ago and the govenor job cost over $400 and that was with out even having the tractor in shop. The real spendy parts are the weights and carrier and I have had good success with drilling out the weights and carrier and installing a roll pin. You have to drill weights just a tad bigger than carrier so pin is tight in carrier and free in weights and put pin in so pressure point of weight is not on the groove of roll pin. Thrust bearing is expensive also but other internal parts are not bad. If you need the shaft between gov and carb you may have to hunt for one. When these tractors were in heavy use I installed a lot of kits in them. Dyno testing was a good seller for governor overhaul.

well i hope you guys are happy now.i had a stroke 5 years ago and typing is not a easy task anymore.well i hope i gave you some fun picking on some one.if it was a great problen to you guys im sorry. don
