Hi. When I bought my 1466 a couple years back, guy had overhauled the engine and advised that he had the injector pump turned up to produce more HP.

I"m in the process of restoring her and want it back to stock HP. Is this something I can do easily or best that bring to a shop to handle?

I do not know of one that is still stock and more then likely it is not more then 10-20% over and it will live a long and happy life where it is at

I agree with The Vet. I dare say at least 90% of these have been turned up, and it doesn't seem to bother their longevity. 1972 and 1973 models were rated at 133 PTO HP, and 1974, 75, and 76 models were around 146. Many of them used on farms are putting out over 200 HP. Unless it smokes excessively or you want to use a little less fuel, I think I'd leave it the way it is. You will need a dynomometer to to get it reset correctly.
