I picked up a 1-PR picker a couple of years ago in pretty good shape except the metal in the bottom of the elevator was gone. I put in a piece but now I have a lot of problems with ears getting caught on the turn upwards of the elevator chain. My question is was there a flap there somehow that stoped ears from running that far down.There is no evidence of one ever being there on my machine. I have that on my New Idea pickers so I'm thinking there should be one on the IH picker.
