I am looking to buy a farmall c locally and am interested in putting a 3 point hitch on the back. I have seen a few kits but dont know who makes them. I would like any info or pictures that anybody has about this. Could somebody please help me!? Also, i would like to but hydraulics on it like the 200s have. Although Im not sure thats possible because I think the rockshaft box is different, am I Right? I would love any info on this that anybody has also, Thanks for the help!

Zane: Basically the Farmall 200 with fast hitch is just an add on to a C touch control system. It can be added to the C, if you can find the parts. Has to be used, no one makes them anymore. Don't confuse this with the 230, they are different again.

Having said this, probably tour best buy is a new aftermarket 3 point hitch from Saginaw County Tractor. they have a web site. There are other 3 point hitches, but quality is poor.

So with the hydaulics, anything off of a Super C or 200 will fit on a C, right? That answers that. Ive heard of saginaw, do you know any other companies? I would like to get some picures because I can make the hitch myself. I would like some ideas so i can figure out what will work the best, or modify somebody elses hitch

Zane: 3 point or fast hitch both require a remote hydraulic valve added to the touch control unit. If you buy a fast hitch, make sure you get the remote valve and check valve that goes with the hitch.

If you buy or build a hitch, your single biggest cost will be the hydraulic remote valve. You can operate a 3 point hitch, without remote valve, using pull rods from front rockshaft, however you will not be happy with the performance. It won't lift much.

I said buy Saginaw, all others are junk. your better off if you don't know them.

I looked at the saginaw kit and was very impressed, you were right! I didn"t see one for a C so im guessing one that fits an H should fit a C as long as i got the hydraulics hooked up.

Zane: There is a Saginaw hitch specifically for C, SC, etc. type chassis. For some reason they don't show it on their web site.

I think the difference being if an H is equipped with hydraulics, it will operate the hitch with no hydraulic additions other than plumbing. The C, SC, etc. on the other hand always had hydraulics but usulally not a remote valve. They are going to want current specs and optional equipment on a C, SC, etc. before they quote you.
