Anybody know what brand these tires are. They are advertising a 13.6 x 38" buffed tire for $255.00. What is a buffed tire?
 
A buffed tire is a new tire that has the brand name buffed off of the tire. Sometimes they are first line tires and sometimes they are seconds. There is no way to know the brand name unless the selling company (in this case Tiretown) will tell you.

have bought two different rear pairs of tires from tire town. good as new. usually they only buff off part of the name. the last pair clearly were titans with only the first t buffed off.
 
Hmmm, I wonder why the 12.4's are more expensive than the 13.6's. I think 13.6's would look too large on my H.
 
Mike.....just got an H in with brand new 13.6 tires. Could send a pic so you can see for yourself if you like.
 
Ive bought a few sets from them.Always had good luck.They have a store at Leavenworth and another a few miles south of there.They are imperfect tires.I bought a set of 20.8-34 tires there which were Firestone,but had all letters but the STON buffed off.Also bought a pair of 15.5 rubber there
 
they are tires that the factory said weren't good enough for their brand name and they are not. I bought one set .
 
My uncle bought a set of rears for his H about 3 years ago from them and has loved them. I"m planning on driving over to their store soon to buy a set of rears for my H on his recommendation.
