Farmall M on EBAY, Starting Bid: $6575

Real nice 50 M in the photo ad section here at YT!! Has a Super M engine, but, its painted green! Looks like a nice tractor though!!

if the super m has been rebuilt, the price really isnt too bad. if you figgure new tires, 1200, motor rebuild, with the o/h kit, plus machine work, maybe another 1500, clutch, plus paint work and misc doo-dads, he prolly has at least that in the tractor.
 
He could easily have double that in it if he had the work done at a dealership - but that in no way makes it worth that.
 
I agree about the dealer pricing. In my area labor is $70-$100/hr + materials + parts +shop supplies... East to hit $6500... But how many TRUE IH dealers are there? They flopped in about 1986... Case/NH dealers are few and far between that have tech's available in the letter series. Bet cha' it's a non-leaking re-paint.
