340 utility extra hydraulics remotes to the back of tractor

Hello I have a 340 utility and would like to know what I can do to get a set of remotes or to hook up a cylinder to the rear of the tractor to use on a disk. This tractor has the one valve for the 3 point/fast hitch and no other. It does not look like I can run a set of hoses out of the main hydro valve and then to a control valve. I see on Case IH parts that the extra valves and stuff are retried. Thank you, Brian

I have a 330 with the same set up. If you can find the hydra touch control valve, it bolts and plumbs up easily, [i:18040b4799]but[/i:18040b4799]....... the single valve will cost north of $400 at Worthington used parts.

I checked about a month ago and didn't have my serial number with me, so the price was off the top of his head. I need to stop the next time I go by.

I think I'm going to plumb a couple of tee's and valves into my fast hitch lines for now so I'll have a remote. It's not ideal but it'll work until I talk myself into parting with the cash for my[i:18040b4799] toy tractor[/i:18040b4799].

Best bet if you want to add an orignal valve rather than plumbing off the existing one like you mentioned is to call The IH Parts Depot andsee what they want for a valve if they have one. Or watch ebay I see them from time to time, or call salvage yards. Im not certain but I believe the valves from the 460 and 560, among others will also work on the 340.

I have a 340U as well, and fortunately it has two additional Hydro valves as well as one like yours for the rear Fasthitch. The valves all connect together in a manifild, using common ports. If you can locate a valve, it would bolt into the manifold. I use my two valves for a loader, but I'd also like a rear output to power a log splitter, so I'm planning to cut into the output of one valve and install a 3 way Greshen valve, which allows the valve's output to go one way or the other. However, the valve that powers the rear hitch, called a Teledepth valve, functions differently than the Hydrotouch valves, and I wouldn't think you could take hydraulics off of it to a remote. I think you'd be much better off trying to add in a Hydrotouch valve. They were identical in many models: I know the 240,460, and 560 for sure, but likely others as well.
