41 M 12volt conversion

The M had been converted to 12 Volt by PO. It ran fine, but it wasn't charging, and I'm not sure if it ever did. I'm rewiring it the right way (or trying to). Check out my hastily drawn diagram and let me know if it looks right.

Have you actually checked the voltage at the battery? I seen the tractor ammeters showing discharge, but upon checking the voltage at the battery, it was right where it should be. Ended up changing out the guage and all was well. How strong is your battery? Might load test it. Maybe you've completed these steps.
