I just replaced my resistor and glow plugs in my B275. When I turned the switch, the resistor burned out immeditately. I just bought the tractor and I suspect the glow plugs a wired wrong. Does anyone know where to put the copper connector as on top or bottom of the next plug? I could not find a diagram in any books. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Richard, the glow plugs(gp) and indicator resistor are wired in series like the old xmas tree lights.
From back of engine closest to battery box the black wire from the indicator resistor should go to the top of the #1gp then copper wire from bottom of #1gp to bottom of #2gp, then copper wire from top of #2gp to top of #3gp, bottom of #3gp to bottom of #4gp, top of #4gp to ground on engine block.

Black wire---TxxxxxT-----TxxxxxT----Gnd to block
Battery box x B-----BxxxxxB------B
T = Top of glow plug, B = Bottom of glow plug
---- = wire
xxxx = no connection

Hope this helps
