HI. Corrosion X is also great for demoisturizing and preventing moisture in all kinds of electrical equipment. Motors will run underwater after dunking in a bath of it.
try it you'll love it, we use it by the gallons for soaking electric motors in wet conditions and have had no problems.

Hi: Is "precise" the key word?? If they list the chemicals, isn't that close enough? If I understand correctly, Coke-a-Cola has been around 100 years and it has been a secret formula and hasn't been banned by the FDA? I prefer not to use something that is not bad for my health and safety but there are limits for most things in life? Texting messages can be bad... if your driving for example? So any more info on safety in using corrosion X...? ag ret.

... correction to previous post:
I prefer to NOT use any thing that IS BAD for my health and safety.. but there is limits.

I had a double negative in that sentence.. ag

They don"t, as far as I can tell.

"Safety"? I suspect it is nothing but perfumed kerosene. If they really had something it would be patented so there would be no secret (and they wouldn"t be able to keep it secret from competitors with chem labs anyway).

It is used to spray inside the aluminum structures of aircraft to prevent corrosion. It was used for this long before it became available on the over-the-counter commercial market. Also, great for electrical contactors/relays, etc. And I don't care if you use it or not.

"I suspect it is nothing but perfumed kerosene. "

Probably not.

$8.95 for a 6 ounce container, and you have to buy a minimum of 12 containers. For that kind of money, it had better leave a 24 carat gold plated finish on top of the rust. I think I'll just stick with PB Blaster.
