WHAT IS THE BEST ALTERNATOR TO PUT ON A H FARMALL? THANKS DON

The common Delco alternator does not fit under the hood of an H very well. I think several folks are using a Japanese made alternator because of its smaller size. I think it is a Hitachi?

I just purchased a nice 12v alternator for 74 bucks from a local electrical shop in Teutopolis, Il. It"s smaller than the delco 10SI and fit nicely under the hood. Works GREAT and the bracket was a breeze to fabricate. I don"t recall the model, but they ARE out there. Where are you located?
