Reversed SM with Pics

This is a Reversed SM that has a Butler 5615 Ensiloader with it. Ok! What is the ensiloader designed for? Isn't tall enough to fill a silo. Serial # is SM 15xx AJ. The # on the motor above the oil filter is:356980R1,3/5/X,C264, and hand stamped 1607AK.
The reversed Deck is 355184R3,4/16/C. The extra deck that looks to be the original is:8550DG,11/27/V. This tractor need alot of work. Can anybody share any history on this thing. I'm probably going to buy it as a package with a 55-300. I want the 300 but will sell this one or part it out.
Sorry about the duplicate picture not real proficient at this yet.
Can anybody tell me how to delete a picture when posting?

I see those set-ups all the time out here in Central California for cotton pickers. But I don't know what that loader is.

As far as the picture, set up your code when writing the post. Then hit "Preview" before submit. On this site, once you hit submit, that's it. There is no edit feature. If on preview you find that you included two of the same picture, just delete that code text and it will be gone. Hit preview to check again, then hit submit when you are satisfied.

Hope that helps!

Think your tractor started out as a regular SM and the extra trans top may be the original one. Thats probably suposed to be a W on the end of date code instead of a V. Nov. 27 1951. Engine casting numbers, serial number and chassis numbers match a original early SM. The A on chassis and engine means it was equiped to run distilate fuel. J was rockford clutch. Trans top on there now indicates tractor may have been converted in 1957 or later.
Bet Wardner would like to have that gear box drive.

Dont part it out . Thats a real show stopper , somebody would love to have it with the loader .

Nice to know you are thinking about me, Dave. But as you can see, I am all set. This California Cotton Picker PTO is already on my 400 and working. It drives the non-stock left side Electrall, an air brake air compressor, and the hydraulic pump for my creeper. The red gearbox is the standard Electrall gearbox. It drives the right side Electrall.

In regards to the reversed M, I would like to know where the pulley behind the little chunky gear box gets its power. And what does it drive?

i agree with tgin, dont part that critter out!!! that is one unusual looking dude. looks like a stage 1 super m, has a belly pump. there is some type of framework with a big cylinder and set of spool valves behind the elevator. where is the tractor at?

Put the word out. This will probably go for around $1500. Delivery can be negotiated to most anywhere. I drive a 05 pete with a 53' dry van.

The picker drive gearbox pictured on the tractor has the belt pulley mounted high to drive the dual fans on the 114 or 114A low drum cotton picker which was on this tractor. The high drum 120 or 120A used this same gearbox. The picker drive gearbox pictured with the little pulley was for earlier single fan cotton pickers such as the M10, M11, and M12 cotton pickers. I agree the owner probably bought a new 114 picker in 57 or 58 and had it mounted on this tractor he already had.

Wardner,

The pulley behind "that chunky little gearbox" drives the dual fans on late model (114/120 and later) dual fan one row pickers. The dual fans were mounted high behind the operator. The pulley drive on your gear box drives the single fan on earlier (pre 114/120) model pickers. The fan was mounted down low on the right side of the picker.
