front rims on regular

I just purchased a regular in pretty sad shape. In trying to prepare it to come home I took off the rotted front rims. The problem is I"m having a hard time locating rims to put on it for transport. They are a car style rim with six lugs, 6" on center, with a 4.5" center hole. Are these factory? I had expected them to be like my f-20"s front rims. Now I need to figure out something so I can get it home as quick as possible. Thanks in advance.

sounds like they put the front hubs from an F-30 on them. F-30 front steel bolted to a hub instead of being one single unit like an F-20 or regular.

have to check the measurements tomarree when its light

Ya I have a Regular with six bolt hubs on it that I belive have the same dimensions as you are talking about. Once I got it off the trailer, to move it around for the time being I put a rim off a running gear on one side just to make it easier for now.

Yes, that appears to be the same hub. I just can't figure out what wheel will fit it. I would just drag it on the trailer the way it is, but it has to go through the yard of the seller's neighbor first. I don't think they would appreciate a plowing demonstration in their backyard.

Haha, ya thats probably a no to the plowing demonstration.

The ones I used are like I said are off a running gear, but are really very common. They are exactly the same spacing as the 340, 460, 560 and dozens of other IH tractors and many other makes and who knows how many running gears.

Best I could say is if you dont have one, find a friend or neighbor with one, or with a narrow front tractor and see if you can borrow a rim and tire for a day.

Found couple more photos that might help you. Sorry i can find any of jsut the wheel/hub.
