I have found a 1935 F-12 steel wheels and a 1937 F-12, both are in original condition, all there, and they run, the guy wants 2500 each, I am just in the hunt for a new project, is this too high or not???? nice tractors but a lot of $$$$ to start off with then restore, what do you think?

If they were restored I would pay that. Look at the classifieds, they seem pretty high to me. I rarely remember seeing any F- go for much more than 2K.

I guess it depends on where you're located, around the St. Louis area $800 is a fair price. I would never give $2,500.00 for an F12.

Even if it has a wide front and fenders I still wouldn't give $2,500.00 for it.

The F12 is too common of a tractor and many were made. Do they have a wide front and fenders?

In 1985 I rebuilt an F12 engine with all new parts inside and it cost me $1,000.00 then just on the engine alone.

Offer him a $1,000.00 and see what he says!!

WAY too high in my area, unless they have unusual features.

I've seen just the bare wide front go for that much, so if one or the other is a wide front grab it at that price.

I feel good that you guys backed me up! Like I said, I don't really watch the F tractors that hard, but it seemed pretty steep.
Most of the time the unrestored runners are around $800 with a cheap restored one around $1250 IIRC.
